How to Use the CHJ Discussion Forum

SHARE YOUR VIEWS ON THE NEW CHJ FORUM:
A Beginner's Guide

All CHJ members are urged to vote on the motion before the Board to endorse the NRCAT resolution to ban torture.
How? Via the new interactive addition to the congregation website, humanisticjews.org. The feature is called a Discussion Forum. Those of you who have participated in other Forums should have no trouble with this one. Here's a beginner's guide.

1) You can reach the forum from the menu on any page of our website. Note Members' Discussion Forum in the Menu at the top.

Or you can type humanisticjews.org/forum into the Address Bar of your browser and go there directly.

2) The screen that comes up asks you to login. Members were sent an email with their initial User Name and Password.
(One was sent for every email address in the Member Directory.) If you lost yours or if your 2-adult family
needs a second User Name, write to webmaster@humanisticjews.org.

3) Once logged in, you'll see the Discussion Forums and Categories initially set up.  To get to the Torture Resolution, click on it.

 Here's what comes up:

Click on any of the topics to read what members have written. Add your own comment if you like.
Most important, PLEASE VOTE before the Board meets on Sunday January 11th at Bedford MS.
Here's where you vote:

And then do explore other areas of the Forum and start your own topic. Suggestions for new categories welcome. Write to webmaster@humanisticjews.org.
