Jewish Identity

Our Congregation creates its own ceremonies. Each year, Rosh Hashanah and  Yom Kippur services are reexamined and rewritten in light of the condition of the world, the country, our own communities and, of course, the Jewish Community. Sometimes they are only slightly revised - sometimes we start all over. The same is true with Sukkot, Chanukah, Purim and Passover. In recent years we have developed a seder celebrating Tu B'Shvat.  Every few years, we hold a Brit Shalom (Baby Naming ceremony) for children and grandchildren of congregants who wish to participate.

Our services are led by members of the Congregation. Traditionally, we hold services on Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur Eves, and services and discussion groups the following day.  Attendance at High Holiday Services is free to non-members. Donations are optional and welcomed.
